The Reverend Jefferson P. Selth - 1930-1999

We regret to inform you that the Reverend Jefferson P. Selth died at his 
home in Los Angeles Tuesday, May 4, 1999 of pancreatic cancer.  He 
was 68 years of age.

Mr. Selth was born in Adelaide, Australia June 30, 1930.  He was 
educated at the University of Adelaide (B.A. 1951), Library Association 
of Australia (A.L.A. 1958) and Starr King School for the Ministry (B.D. 
1965).  He served congregations in Santa Rosa, California and 
Warrington, Pennsylvania.

His wife, Barbara Craig; a son, James of Glendora, California; a daughter, 
Catherine Selth Spayd of Altoona, Pennsylvania and three grandchildren 
survive Mr. Selth.  Messages of condolence may be sent to:

A memorial service will be held May 16, 1999, 5:00 p.m., at the First 
Unitarian Church of Los Angeles, 2936 W. 8th Street, Los Angeles, 
California 90005-1588.  The Rev. Sherri Cave Puchalsky will officiate.
