Another notice of a gathering you may be interested in, especially as it is  
right before the Convocation of the Council of Christian Churches within the  
UUA: 
 
Living in the Kingdom....
 
An exploration of the community into which Jesus invites those who want to  
follow him; 
Reading, reflection and discussion of the New Testament texts on the  kingdom 
in company with other disciples-in-the-making. 
 
A retreat led by Karl Haakonsen, Carl Scovel, Linda Stoker, and Nan Stone  at 
Glastonbury Abbey, a Benedictine Community in Hingham, Mass.
 
Beginning of Friday evening, Oct. 13 and ending Sunday, Oct. 15 at 1 p.m.  
(it will be finished in time to make it to Kings Chapel for the CCCUUA  event)
 
$130 for the retreat, lodging, meals, plus a freewill contribution to the  
Kings Chapel Ministers Discretionary Fund.
