reservations and families

I remember this from last time - there are always more questions coming up
than the planning committee has thought of answers to!
I probably shouldn't try to say for sure without checking with some other
people, but I can't imagine turning people away from worship. There are
daily rates available for people who only want to attend one or two days of
the conference, if there turn out to be speakers or workshops that your
wife would particularly like to hear.
We're still trying to pull together a youth program for ages 12 through
high school that would start after lunch on Saturday and end after lunch on
Sunday. Some of the programming would be separate, but the young people
would join with the rest of the conference for worship on Saturday evening
and Sunday morning. The charge for the program would be $30, to cover the
meals during that time. Two UNMC families have offered their homes to sleep
in (boys in one, girls in the other).
For the rest of the conference, kids 12 and under can accompany their
parents at GA without paying. I would think Revival would be the same.
As for meals for the conference in general, four will be served at UNMC:
Thursday dinner, breakfast on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday lunch. (For
others, people are encouraged to check out the many, many restaurants in
the neighborhood.) It sounds like maybe we should figure out a way people
can pay for separate meals they'd like to join in - though the meal
planners will need to have a pretty good idea of how many people to expect.
We'll have to get back to you on that one.
