The Friday afternoon Revival schedule has time for tours as well as the
social action project. Any idea what people might be interested in? I
could be persuaded to lead a group to any of these places:

1) St. Thomas' Park and Labyrinth -- This park, about a 15-minute walk
from UNMC, was formed from the ruins of the original church, destroyed by
arson in 1970. Rather than rebuilding the church, this welcoming Episcopal
congregation (http://www.st-thomas-dc.org) decided to turn the space into
a park, preserving the original altar and leaving room for worship and
other events. Among the four outdoor "rooms" in the park is a permanent
labyrinth. The UNMC youth group walked it last winter, accompanied with
large doses of hot chocolate (available nearby). Taking a labyrinth
journey to our spiritual center on a busy street corner is an exercise
very different from walking a labyrinth in the desert or inside a quiet
church.

2) Washington National Cathedral (http://www.cathedral.org) -- Sited on a
hill above Washington with amazing views from the Pilgrim's Gallery, this
Episcopal cathedral welcomes seekers in its role as a house of prayer for
all people. Visits to the beautiful gardens, a quiet meditation center,
and an extremely well stocked bookstore could fill an afternoon.

3) Icon & Book Service (http://www.iconbook.org) + Franciscan Monastery
(http://www.pressroom.com/~franciscan/) -- This bookstore offers an
amazing collection of books and liturgical items, largely but not
exclusively from the Orthodox tradition. The nearby Franciscan monastery
boasts replicas of many Holy Land shrines.
