So I'm working away on devotional materials for a few months from now, dealing
with turning/repentance, forgiveness, amends, atonement, and reconciliation.

What Biblical texts do you turn to for guidance, comfort, understanding, &
encouragement when you have wronged someone or otherwise broken covenant with
God, or when you have been wronged?

Personally, I tend to turn to the Psalms first, since you can't move very far
into those without meeting the experiences of being wronged or of seeking
forgiveness. Numbers 5-6 is a key text for me in the learning of responsibility
and accountability after captivity and before reaching a state of being home.
But also both versions of the Lord's Prayer and the passage in Joel (2:20b-24)
encouraging the people out of fear and into thanksgiving for the opportunity of
reconciliation.

with much gratitude for sharing,
Naomi
