Hi all. Please pass on the announcement below to church email lists and
newsletters and to your own emails and social networks. Thanks. Just a little
more than one week to go for the early discounted rate for Revival. Plus
airfares to Dallas seem to be at very low fares now. Please keep the revival
planning team in prayer as we enter the last weeks; keep the host site
Horizon Church and their UUCF group in prayer as they are finishing up a
building project that we will get to experience with new space; keep in prayer
all those who will be travelling to Revival and all of our presenters. Our
keynote lecturers have just finished new books and more on the way. And keep
Revival itself and the UUCF in prayer; this is a time to support both.

Keynote lectures on the radical early disciples of Jesus, Peter, Paul, and
Mary, and more, by Historical Jesus Scholar and author Dr. Brandon Scott of
the Jesus Seminar, and by Former President of the UUA and author and
pastor Rev. John Buehrens. Dynamic and varied worship led by UU ministers
including opening worship from Dallas Fort Worth area led by Rev. Dennis
Hamilton of Horizon, Taize led by Rev. Jonalu Johnstone of Oklahoma City,
Communion and Baptism by Rev. Tom Wintle of First Parish Weston MA, Prayer and
Healing by Rev. David Owen O'Quill of Micah's Porch in Chicago, contemplative,
daily office of morning and evening prayer by Gil Guerrero of Horizon.
Workshops by the keynote lecturers, including one on Reimagining The
Resurrection by Brandon Scott, the subject of his latest book due out next
month, and by noted Buddhist and Christian scholar Dr. Ruben Habito of Perkins
School of Theology, and others exploring Jesus, sexuality, film, universalist
christianity, Jesus and India, UU Christianity, and a special three hour
Centering Prayer seminar. Small group times, service project, social
opportunities with meals together and programs, singing, bookstore, free
resources.
Early Discount Registration ends Sept. 19. A mini-conference package just
for Friday evening and Saturday is available. Child care is available with

opportunity to contribute to scholarships, especially to seminarians and young
adults and those in need, even if you aren't able to come to Revival consider

progressive religion and the future of church and community, and making
