Re-Discovering Jesus and our Communities of Hope
National Revival and Spiritual Retreat Oct. 14-17, 2010
Horizon UU Church, Carrollton, TX
sponsored by Unitarian Universalist Christian Fellowship, freely following

Keynote lectures by Historical Jesus Scholar Dr. Brandon Scott of the Jesus 
 Seminar, and by Former President of the UUA and author Rev. John Buehrens. 
 Dynamic and varied worship led by UU ministers including opening worship  
with multi-church choir from Dallas Fort Worth area, Taize, Communion, 
Baptism,  Prayer and Healing, contemplative. 
 
Workshops by the keynote lecturers, including one on Reimagining The  
Resurrection by Brandon Scott, the subject of his latest book due out next  
month, and by noted Buddhist and Christian scholar Dr. Ruben Habito of Perkins  
School of Theology, and others exploring Jesus, sexuality, film, universalist 
 christianity, Jesus and India, UU Christianity. Small group times, service 
 project, social opportunities with meals together and programs, singing,  
bookstore, free resources. 
 
Early Discount Registration ends Sept. 19. A mini-conference package just  
for Friday evening and Saturday is available. Child care is available with
