[Uucf-bible] Revival Update: One month left for early registration deadline, and workshops

Hi all. 
 
Today marks the day that there is one month left for registrations to  
Revival 2009 for the early discount. The rate goes up after March 13.  You can 
register and get all the latest information and  assistance at

We also are ready to take your workshop designations. This helps  the 
workshop leaders do their planning and helps us with our room  decisions. Please look 
at the following list and let us know which ones you wish  to be in.

Also if you are seeking baptism during Revival, please let us know so we  can 
schedule you into that small group for its sessions. 
 
Revival Highlights Reminder. 
 
Bishop Carlton Pearson will be the keynote preacher during Revival 2009, a  
national event sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Christian Fellowship to  
be held at All Souls Unitarian Church Thurs. Mar. 26 to Sat. Mar. 29.  
 
Other preachers will include Rev. Gerald Davis of Tulsa's Church of the  
Restoration, opening worship; Rev. Lillie Mae Henley of Universalist National  
Memorial Church in Washington, D.C. for communion service; Rev. Jonalu Johnstone  
of First Unitarian Church of Oklahoma City for prayer and healing service; 
Rev.  Felicia Urbanski, Waterloo, Canada and All Souls music director Rick  
Fortner for Taize service; Rev. Kathleen Rolenz of West Shore Unitarian  
Universalist Church near Cleveland, Ohio, for baptism service; Rev. Suzanne  Meyer of 
the Unitarian Universalist Church of Cheyenne, Wyoming will lead the  closing 
circle; Rev. Tamara Lebak of All Souls Unitarian Church will preach  at the 
Sunday morning services. 
 
Other major Revival events include:
--a three-hour Contemplative Centering Prayer session facilitated by  Barbara 
Schneeberg of Broken Arrow;
--a panel on "The Emergent Church" facilitated by Rev. Susan Smith of  
Shreveport, Louisiana, district executive of the Southwestern Conference of the  
Unitarian Universalist Association, including Rev. Thom Belote of Shawnee  
Mission Unitarian Universalist Church of Overland Park, Kansas, Rev. Ron  Robinson 
of The LivingRoom Church in Turley, Oklahoma, and Executive Director of  the 
Unitarian Universalist Christian Fellowship, and others;
--an old-fashioned hymn sing;
--"Spirit of Life" small group sessions coordinated by Rev. Melanie  
Morel-Ensminger of First Unitarian Universalist Church of New Orleans, where  
participants will explore personal faith journeys and spiritual practices  using a 
curriculum of the UUA;
 
Other films and video clips and video episodes about Jesus and recent  
biblical scholarship will be shown throughout the Revival. 
 
Full time ($150) and one-day ($60) registrations, online and through the  
mail, are available, with meals included. Early registration ends Mar. 13.

Tulsa's Revival follows other recent ones at Unitarian Universalist  churches 
in New Orleans, St. Louis, Washington, D.C., Worcester, Mass, Fort  Worth, 
New York City, and Cleveland, Ohio. 
 
The Unitarian Universalist Christian Fellowship was founded in 1945 in  
Boston and moved its offices to Turley, OK in 2004. It creates progressive  
Christian publications and events and provides online resources for individuals,  
small groups, and churches.
