About the KJV and successors: I like to point out, and if you've been on  the 
list here for a while you probably have heard it from me before  :), that in 
one case at least (translation of the key phrase in Paul for  "faith of Jesus 
Christ" in Romans rather than "faith in Jesus Christ") the King  James seems 
to be more in line with much of contemporary scholarship moreso than  the 
successors like the NRSV which relegate this translation possibility to a
