I also meant to get in a mention of a recent article, I think in the  
Christian Century, a book review of the new work by Dr. Jon Levenson that draws  the 
distinction between the resurrection of/from the dead and that of  
immortality, and the presence of the idea of an "end-time" resurrection from the  dead in 
Judaism, something that might certainly have been picked up on by  and in 
Paul. I haven't read Levenson's book yet, but I liked his  earlier book on The 
Death of the Beloved Son, and the new one sounds worth  checking out for 
Universalists.
