Hi Jim.
 
I would say encourage people to have leaps of imagination and empathy;  
modeling generosity. And I have discovered that the more people are non-anxious  
about their own faith (what Rabbi Friedman called self-differentiation), the  
more they are able to do this and build relationships that are healthy. When we  
are anxious or frustrated or grieving or having some other feeling that has 
us  uncertain in our own faith, it seems we keep the divides up. thanks and
