[Uucf-bible] UUCF CLF Prison Ministry

In Mexico City we, the Comite Unitario de Servicio de Mexico are developing
a prision ministry on an all voluntary basis.

Most of the inmates we work with speak only Spanish, but I would be glad to
translate CLF's materials into Spanish.

Most of the inmates interested in liberal religion come from fundamentalist
christian experiences (mostly pentecostal).

So I would be glad to exchange experiences and views with fellow christian
unitarians because now I am developing a course for the inmates on an open
liberal reading of the Bible.

I would appreciate all of the documentation resources you can tell me of on
prison ministry, liberal christianity, alternatives to fundamentalism,
liberal reading of the Bible.

Recently a friend donated to the project two books, Borg's "Reading the
Bible Again" and Spong's "Rescuing the Bible from Fundamentalism".
