[Uucf-bible] Re: The Bible -what translation?

I've been using the Access Bible, which uses the NRSV translation.  I 
like it because the notes are interspersed right into the text, so you 
don't have to keep looking down at notes.  I'd say it comes from a 
mainline-to-liberal perspective.  I think it's a really great 
introduction to the text, but it doesn't get into serious scholarship 
very often.  I'm looking to buy either the HarperCollins or New Oxford 
Annotated, since they seem to be a bit more scholarly.  Any 
recommendations for one or the other?
