[UUA-L] Committee on Committees Seeks Applicants for Regional Subcommittee on Candidacy

The Committee on Committees of the UUA Board of Trustees is accepting
applications to fill several positions on the Midwest Regional
Subcommittee on Candidacy.  Midwest includes these districts:  Prairie
Star, Central Midwest, Heartland, Ohio-Meadville, and committee makeup
is limited to these.  Other RSCC's will have openings in the next six
months.

  

Ministerial members of RSCC's must be in full fellowship with the UUA.
Lay members should have considerable congregational or UU organizational
experience, preferably including service on a Ministerial Search
Committee, Committee on Ministry or Internship Committee.  We seek to
ensure wide-ranging diversity of all kinds on the RSCC's.  Under-40
applications always welcome.    

 

The Midwest RSCC will meet with aspirants at one 3-day meeting per year,
(Chicago in October), with significant prep work.  Appointments made in
June will serve until December 31, 2009 and then be eligible for
appointment to up to four 2-year terms.  Travel and other meeting
expenses are covered, per established guidelines.
