The UUA announces UUDMNY-L, a new automated mailing list
(listserve) for ministers, district officers, district trustees and
congregational presidents in the Unitarian Universalist District of
Metropolitan New York. This list provides a quick way for active
District leaders to conduct routine District business, distribute
news, share resources, compare programs, find support, get ideas, and
create connections. (A general Metro District discussion list with
unlimited subscription access will be set up in the near future).
The list is closed to Metro NY members only (subscribers are
manually added by the list managers). The content of the list is
unmoderated. The views expressed do not necessarily represent those
of any congregation, the district, or the UUA.
This list is expected to have a small and managable number of posts
per day. The exchange of announcements, ideas, opinions, and
practical information is a valuable resource for UUs in leadership
positions in the Metro District.
To subscribe, send a message to
listproc at uua.org
with the following in the text of the message:
subscribe uudmny-l yourfirstname yourlastname
Since this is a closed-subscription list, the subject line of the
message should contain your title or reason to be subscribed, for
example: "President of XXX congregation" or "District Trustee", etc.
There is no charge to subscribe to this list, which is provided as a
service of the Unitarian Universalist Association by volunteer list
managers who are in the New York Metro District. If you are int he
Metro New York district, your participation is welcome; if you know
other UU ministers, district officers, trustees or congregational
presidents in the Metro District who might be interested in UUDMNY-L,
please pass this invitation along.
