[Msd-youthannounce] Announcing: Dynamic Youth Ministry Online Course!

Dear Youth Ministry supporters:

We are writing with an exciting announcement, and important request:

For the second time, we will be co-leading a course on Dynamic Youth
Ministry, offered by Starr King School for the Ministry. This fall, the
course will be offered as an online, rather than residential, offering -
making it available not just to those in northern California, but to
religious professionals, seminarians, and lay leaders around the world. The
course will feature guest presenters from within and beyond Unitarian
Universalism, peer interaction / support, one-on-one consultation with
instructors, print and video learning resources, a praxis
(action/reflection) component, and more.

At a time when so many congregations are prioritizing professional and
volunteer development for youth ministry, we want to make sure UU youth
ministry supporters know about this offering. Please help us by sharing the
course announcement with your chapters this summer (the course begins
September 7, 2010).

We're unable to send attachments on this listrv, but feel free to contact us
for both text and pdf announcements for the course, as well as the course
syllabus. Below is a sample announcement for shorter newsletter/blog/website
