Check-In: What's your favorite snow activity? Dana and Scott add a table to
the large…table.

Rule Revising:

-No blankets in the all-night room. No going to sleep in the all night
room...DUH. Brought up because of the Auburn YAC meeting. If you bring a
blanket in an all night room, leave and take your blanket with you. There's
supposed to be an adult in every sleeping room. Sue thinks we can get in
more trouble awake than asleep so we should be able to go to sleep.

-Should sleeping be allowed eventually in the all night room since there's
an advisor?

-Aubrey puts the all night rule on the bike rack because we're all extra
confused and Matt's asleep. What else is new?



Budget:

-Scott thinks we should leave the budget alone. Christien thinks we should
invest in Microsoft bonds.

-Eve really wants some Sierra Mist.

-Should we pay the trustee?

-John put bagel on Matt's head.

-Christien tries to correct me about the bonds thing. I have an urge to kick
him in the FACE.

-Who wants to help write a proposal to pay the trustee? Faith, John, and
Dustin.

-All officers can claim mileage for YAC meetings. Woah.

-Can they combine mileage if two congregations rent a van to get to a
meeting? YES!

            -19 minute break!



CON Stuff:

            -Assign duties (hehe, doodies) to people.

                         *Steve volunteers for food management for CONquest

            *Dustin, Elaine, John, and Claire are deans for Jr. High CON.
Elaine's doing        food. John's doing registration.

                        *Zoe is registrar for annual assembly.

            -CONquest (Nashville Feb. 8-10)

            -LDC (Atlanta March 28-30)

                        *YAC should introduce ourselves and connect with the
church at the CON

                        *We should tell the LDC trainers our concerns.
Discuss later.

            -Jr. High CON (Huntsville)

                        *Star Wars theme

                        *Should they watch the movies or would they be too
long?

                        *Lightsabers have been purchased.

                        *Outing?

                        *Is gonna be AWESOME!

                        *Jacob will design logo for medals

-What to do at CONs

            *More icebreakers and "get to know you" games on Friday night

            *Yarn circle on Saturday night

            *Angel Washes

            *Active participation should be added to forms(CON and YAC)

            *More participation in coffeehouse

            *Shorter Sat. night worship

            *Cleanup Sat. night=Less stress on Sunday

            *Dana, Jacob, and Aubrey whisper

            *More ACTIVE activities at CONs (on Friday nights)



General Assembly:

-In Fort Lauderdale (June)

-Costs $500,000 (according to Dustin)
            -But it really costs $125

-3 youth per advisor

-Oxford youth arrive! Check-in again.

Bylaws:

-Current district advisors need to attend events

-We do not want to revisit/change the bylaws

-YAC officers should show up and do their jobs. Impeachment?

            -Annual Assembly May 2-4 2008

            -Workshop or something for youth at Annual Assembly
(Icebreakers/games workshop?)



Newbie Packet:

            -Packet for youth with information about CONs, YAC, etc.

            -Emphasize that CONs are run by youth

            -Include info for advisors

            -Info for parents?

            -Include testimonies from UU youth
