If you are able to join us, please consider sitting in on a very special workshop. The workshop is designed for people who may want to consider becoming involved -- in any way at all -- with the upcoming Ferry Beach Capital Campaign. There will be many valued roles in which Ferry Beachers may choose to volunteer -- from organizing fun events to asking for gifts to making follow-up calls to old friends. Attending the workshop does not obligate you to volunteer, nor will you be asked to pledge during the workshop. It will teach you about the process of the campaign and give you the skills you will need to make a valued contribution. You will have a chance to learn about our community's incredible potential to honor our past and build our future. The workshop will be conducted by Ferry Beach's stewardship consultant, Larry Wheeler, who comes to us through the auspices of the UUA. Larry, along with the campaign's leadership team, will present the workshop on Saturday morning at 9:30 AM and again on Sunday afternoon at 2 PM. Best of all, we'll be with friends and refreshments will be served! Please allow three hours to participate in the workshop. To help our planning, RSVP to Craig Lentz at fbcraig at maine.rr.com or 207-282-4508 if you would like to attend. If you are unable to attend a workshop this weekend but would like to get involved, please contact Craig. There will be other workshops you can attend in the fall. We look forward to sharing our excitement about the capital campaign and the many ways you can become involved. See you soon! Pat Hoertdoerfer and Brad Cohen, Ferry Beach Capital Campaign Co-chairs
