[Ferrybeach-news] Update on former Exec. Director of Ferry Beach (Dick Drinon)

Come join a celebration in Dick Drinon's honor! 

 

We all have our favorite memories of Ferry Beach. Mine include campfires in
the grove, singing Flying Free on the beach and running the Annual
Banathalon!  But more important than that...it's the people I met! 

Along the way you may have met Richard (Dick) Drinon...a well-liked,
soft-spoken man with a wicked sense of humor! 

He served as Executive Director to Ferry Beach in the late 80's and early
90's and is coming up on the 45th anniversary since his ordination. Myself
and his current parishioners are putting together a big SURPRISE celebration
and are extending an open invitation to the Ferry Beach community to come
and join in the festivities.

When: Sunday, May 7th at 10:30am 

Where: Hopedale Unitarian Parish in Hopedale, Massachusetts 

What: An open invitation to attend the surprise celebration. We are also
asking that those who cannot attend send along a message, video tape, song
(Flying Free is his favorite!), card, poem, memory, etc.

My father has filled the last 45 years of his life with wonderful memories.
Many of which include our time at Ferry Beach! I know he would be so touched
to hear (or maybe even see) from his friends there.
