WELCOME to the Green Sanctuary E-Mail List. This list is sponsored and managed by UU Ministry for Earth (UUMFE), a UUA affiliate program. Please check out our web site at www.uuministryforearth.org for environmental resources and information on Earth justice and Earth ministry. The Green Sanctuary program is now administered by the UUA. Robin Nelson is the Program Manager in the UUA Office of Congregational Stewardship Services. Green Sanctuary application and certification information is available on the UUA website at http://www.uua.org/leaders/leaderslibrary/greensanctuary/index.shtml. If you have a problem or question about this list or about your subscription, write to the managers at greensanctuary-owner@uua.org. The managers of the list are Steven Maier, UUMFE Board member and Jim Wamsley. This e-mail list is designed for individuals and congregations who are interested in or engaged in the Green Sanctuary Program. Here are some sample topics: Questions, problems, and successes with the Green Sanctuary Handbook; approaches to presenting the program to congregations; responses and reactions of church members and governing boards; great new action ideas for Green Sanctuary. Replies to this list go to everyone, so if you want to communicate with one individual, do it separately. Attached files get stripped as a spam protection precaution, so please cut and paste or include a link instead. Please also erase the long chains of repeated replies when sending your message to make it easier to read. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Greensanctuary Archives. Using Greensanctuary
To post a message to all the list members, send email to greensanctuary@lists.uua.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Greensanctuary
Subscribe to Greensanctuary by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
