CivilLiberties -- Discussion of Civil Liberties and the UUA Study Action Issue 2002-2004

About CivilLiberties
English (USA)

The CivilLiberties list is a forum for discussing a broad range of issues related to civil liberties. It was established to discuss the UUA Study Action Issue adopted by General Assembly in 2002, which resulted in a Statement of Conscience in 2004. See the UUA packet at
http://www.uua.org/csw/2002guide.htm

Unitarian Universalists have a longstanding reputation as champions of the civil liberties guaranteed by the Bill of Rights in the United States Constitution.

In addition to the traditional issues, the digital age raises new questions related to Fair Use of
online media and the "Freedom to Tinker".
